Beacon Hill Fall Engagement // Boston Commons // Devyn + Kevin // Boston, MA

Devyn and Kevin told me about their plan for a winter wedding at the Willowdale Estate next December and I-Am-So-Excited! We quickly set a date for their engagement before New England turned into a frost zone. We started their Boston fall engagement session downtown walking around the Boston Public Garden. It was a beautiful fall day; the park was full, lively and bustling with a bajillion people trying to get in the last bit of outdoor warmth.

We found a bunch of great nooks and trees but were throughly unimpressed by the lack of fall foliage - everything was still green! So we made our way over to Beacon Hill, obviously stopping by the famous Acorn Street. Can you really have a fall Beacon Hill engagement shoot without a shot on Acorn street?? I think not. Luckily the classic New England architecture plus multicolored vines across the brick walls made for great fall backdrops.

Oh yeah, did I mention we saw a high-wheeler?! It’s one of the oldy old bikes that have one giant wheel and one small wheel. Super cool and unique so we took a photo next to it, I think it is my fav from this shoot.
